Community

Superior Asphalt, Inc. is committed to supporting our staff, valued customers, and West Michigan communities.

How We Support the Community

Jeff Kresnak and the employees of Superior Asphalt Inc. have a long history of supporting the Communities of West Michigan.

Over the years, Superior Asphalt has donated materials and labor to many local organizations and schools.

In 2014, CEO, Jeff Kresnak donated over 200 tons of asphalt and repaved the Eaton County 4H Fairgrounds, a project worth $36.000. In 2016, Superior donated an eighth-mile running track for Caledonia Kettle Lake Elementary to honor principal Christopher Warren who passed away unexpectedly. In 2020, Superior Asphalt provided labor and 100 tons of asphalt to repair roadways that were damaged by rioters. It is estimated that Superior Asphalt saved Grand Rapids taxpayers over $10,000.

Our employees have raised thousands for local schools such as Cezar Chavez Elementary and Southwest High School. They have provided their time and resources to charities like Habitat for Humanities, Mel Trotter Ministries, Gods Kitchen, local food pantries, local churches, and local anti-drug and bullying campaigns.

Superior Asphalt, Inc. contributes to local public works association fundraisers such as the Snow Plow Rodeo, golf outings, and various scholarship opportunities. We host tours of our asphalt facility for Government officials and local road commissioners. We take time to educate them on quality road construction techniques, proper material usage, and recycling efforts. We have also hosted tours for local school children in hopes of sparking some interest in the industry. Members of our organization are active with industry associations such as NAPA, APAM, MITA, and Women of Asphalt.

We owe a great deal of gratitude to the communities who support our business and will always be willing to help where we can.
